What We Do
Living our faith is important, and there are many ways that people can offer service. In addition to volunteering on one of our church committees, you can get involved in groups dedicated to music/dance/poetry, the food ministry, spiritual discussion, social advocacy and informal get-togethers.

Youth Activities
Here at Church of the Village, we are concerned with making sure our youth are a big part of our
church community. There are lots of ways for youth to get involved: volunteer opportunities,
chances to be involved in worship services, youth-only events and activities and a whole lot more.
If you want to learn more any of these things or just meet with somebody about what's going on in
your life, contact Nathan Bledsoe - Email:

We now have a Facebook Page - Check it Out!
Young Adults

We are a community that believes in the power of prayer.

friends of our community. The prayer chain receives requests for
prayer at each Sunday service and by email. To send a prayer request by email,
please fill out a request form. Ministers of Care are church members who have been selected by
the church pastors to assist in caring for all who consider the Church of the
Village their spiritual home.

We advocate for human rights and cultural awareness by participating in
various events tied to Gay Pride Month in June,
Women's History Month in March, and
Hispanic Heritage Month. Upcoming events are listed on the Events page.
Sidewalk Coffee
Free coffee welcomes members, visitors and passers-by; offered at
10:00am on Sunday on 7th Avenue and 13th Street.
