Hope for our Neighbors in Need (HNN)

Hope for our Neighbors in Need, the food ministry of the Church of the Village, has a mission of outreach. We strive to make a difference in the community by providing our guests with hunger relief and information on available social services. We also offer life-affirming hospitality to our visitors - some friendly encouragement to people who are coping with difficult daily struggles.

We offer bags of groceries through Daisy's Food Pantry, which is located at the church and open on Tuesdays from 1-3 pm. Additionally, the Church has finished renovating its kitchen facility and will resume serving hot meals on February 18, 2012. Those meals will be served on Saturdays from noon to 2:00pm.

Hope for our Neighbors in Need is one of the most important missions for our church members, who see this program as a key initiative to support Social Justice and Community Outreach. If you would like more information about volunteering for HNN, please contact Andrew Lobo, volunteer coordinator, at vista@churchofthevillage.org
