MARTHA & PAUL ARE BUILDING A FAMILY!

We wanted to let you in on some big news:  We’re adopting!  Since we have chosen not to use an agency, we must find an expecting birth mother to choose us as the family to adopt her baby.  To help in that process, we have created a website “profile” about ourselves, a toll-free telephone line and a separate email address for potential birth-parents to contact us.  Here is that information:

Here’s where you come in!  It will take a village (or a church!) to help us find birthmother/child, and we’d love to have your help in this process.   Here’s what you can do!

·         SEND A LETTER or EMAIL to everyone you love telling them about us and our website; you never know what connection may lead to a child for us so please share our situation as widely as you can.   

·         Keep your eyes and ears open: Half of all domestic adoptions happen by word of mouth—someone knows someone who knows someone.

·         If you do know or meet a birth mom, tell her about us.  Please only use our first names and the contact information provided here to protect our privacy until we decide if it’s a good fit.  We’d also be happy to send a hard copy of our letter and profile to you or to her if you’d prefer.
