NEW YORK- Church of the Village, an anti-racist, and radically inclusive Methodist church, welcomes Mid-western drag sweetheart, Bertha Mason, for an evening of laughs and pie.  Calling all witches, bears and friends of Dorothy to join in this campy delicious trip into the Berry Old of Oz. BAKING WITH BERTHA is a campy baking drag comedy show that tickles the funny bone, fills the stomach with pie, and keeps you wanting to come back for seconds.  Take the comic timing of Lucille Ball, the baking skills of Martha Stewart and hulking stature of Julia Child, you then get BAKING WITH BERTHABAKING WITH BERTHA celebrates the 80th Anniversary of  “The Wizard of OZ” with a tasty journey down the yellow brick road.  All new show! All new pie recipe! Same old queen!

BAKING WITH BERTHA is the creation of actor, writer, and pastry chef, Michael D. Bowen.
