Rev. Dr. Arthur L. Pressley is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Religion at the Theological School and Graduate Studies, Drew University, Madison, NJ. Professor Pressley’s teaching and research center on cross-cultural studies focusing on culture and personality, pastoral care and counseling, and psychology of trauma and recovery.


Rev. Dr. Althea Spencer Miller is currently Assistant Professor of New Testament Studies at Drew Theological School. She was ordained a Presbyter in the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas in 1994 after graduating from the United Theological College of the West Indies and the University of the West Indies. She received a Th.M and Ph.D from Candler School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University respectively.  


Rev. Jan F. Selby, BA, STM & MSSW, has been on location as an Ordained Elder in the New England Conference and an active member, formerly of the Metropolitan Duane and now The United Methodist Church of the Village, since 1968. His focus continues to be on pastoral counseling.


Rev. Dr. Gerald C. Liu is an ordained Elder in the Mississippi United Methodist Annual Conference and Assistant Professor of Worship and Preaching at Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, he is a son of culturally Buddhist immigrants from Taiwan.


Rev. Cathy Whitlatch is the Executive Secretary, Training and Continuing Education for the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. In this position she manages and facilitates trainings for new mission personnel including curriculum, logistics, communication, and development of the overall program. She previously served 25 years as a missionary spending 18 of those years in Argentina. She is a graduate of Iliff School of Theology (MDiv) and  a member of the Iowa Annual Conference. She has served as a pastor in both Argentina and rural Iowa. 


Rev. Ron Whitlatch is a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church and ordained elder in the West Virginia Annual (Regional) Conference currently serving the Northeastern Jurisdiction as mission interpreter. Mission interpreters are active missionaries assigned to interpret the work of Global Ministries as it connects the church in mission around the globe. They serve as resource persons through preaching; teaching; participating in mission celebrations, schools of mission, or other mission events in local churches, districts, or annual conferences. A long-time missionary in Argentina, Ron was formerly the director of Hispanic/Latino Ministries in the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference, and, still earlier, was clergy in charge of Hispanic/Latinos in Columbus Junction, Iowa and Iowa Conference coordinator of Hispanic/Latino Ministries. He is a graduate of Methodist Theological School (MDiv) and Drew Theological School (Master of Sacred Theology).
