PRIDE Sunday, Hospitality,
and Queer Liberation with
the Church of the Village
On Pride Sunday, June 27, 2021, the Church of the Village held a powerful and moving Pride Sunday worship both on-site and online. If you missed it, enjoy the video recording on our Facebook page. After worship, we opened our sanctuary doors to hundreds of celebrants and marchers as a place to rest, get out of the heat, use bathrooms, get water, and take selfies with a rainbow boa and LGBTQI+ flags. Also, the Church of the Village and the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew had a contingent in the Queer Liberation March (organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition).
