Kids

We believe children and their caregivers are an important part of our worship experience, and we know that it’s not always easy to make it to church each week. Thanks for making the effort! Kids bring a unique energy, joy, and creative spirit to the worship space, and we want to foster this uniqueness as much as possible. Our Kids and Families Ministry is evolving and we are making great strides to increase inclusion across all generations.

Babies, children, and breastfeeding parents are very welcome in our casual worship environment. We have a kid-friendly space in the sanctuary to provide families an opportunity to stay together in the service if they’d like. Additionally, we engage the Faith Seeker Kids interfaith curriculum on a quarterly basis, providing a month of kids’ programming at a time.

Our kids’ programming is part of our worship. Each week kids are invited to create, draw, and express in their own unique ways. They can then join a breakout room/group after the service with one of our pastors or volunteers, to share and reflect on anything they’d like.

One Sunday a month we offer a kids and families breakout room during the service, and our volunteers engage participants in smaller sections of our usual curriculum, which includes music, movement, a short lesson, and craft.
